Welcome to the homepage for Scott Gibbs Racing!
My name is Scott Gibbs, I am a keep motoring enthusist who has been driving at state level motorkhanas for four years. During this time I have won four state and two National championships. As i grow in age, (and size) I find that I can learn and acheive goals in new areas, like sprinting at circuits, although I'm inexperienced I have gained very good results not only for my age but for my level of track time.

Currently all motorsport has been cut back upon due to the rising expenses involved in growing up and setting a solid foundation to begin my racing career.
31-03-03 Its about time for an update.
DSMERF is on the road! well it was, at the time of my last update the project was just finishing up. Now it has been completed and had a bigger motor go in (1310cc) only to find that i enjoyed the extra power to much and it seems theres very little resembling a gearbox inside the sump. The car has been fitted with 13" wheels and falken rubber, a big stereo, which consists of a Clarion CD tuner, 2 Pioneer 5" two ways, 2 6x9's built into a custom enclosure under the rear seat, a big sony amp and 2x12" boss subs in a custom box. The interior is mildly custom at this stage, with all trims (doors, passenger walls, parcel tray all covered in white vinyl. Clubman seats replace the originals And a new custom Dashboard has been made.
Scotty's Home again.
And now im back, from way down south, i only just logged on and theres so much email up in my face. sorry bout that. but its true the last time I updated was almost a year ago!!! but now that im back home and back on cable web rather than uni spec computers which have 25 computers wired up through 1 56K modem, you can expect more updates.

Slug garaged again.
Unfortunatly, the slug will be put away for a little while whilst I save up some cash and prepare for a full rebuild. When its finished it trip through Scottys workshop you can expect it to be lighter faster and sleeker. I may even get a real paint job!!! The car will still be used for motorkhanas and track days until Im ready to begin the rebuild.

Project Smurf update
Well folks, once again, it looks like DSMERF's box will need to come out. After damaging the main bearing last time I still have a good box to go in it! The Weber has been installed successfully, Teamed up with the new Exhaust fitted by Fussy's of Lansvale, makes for a noisy and notibly quicker little ride. Disc brakes have almost been finished.

want your pic on here?
